Desiree Puhi - RN, BSN

Desiree Puhi, R.N., B.S.N has served as the executive director of Molokai Community Health and Wellness Center since July 2008.  Ms. Puhi is a longtime Molokai resident who has also been recognized as one of the top 50 nurses in Hawai‘i. Ms. Puhi has extensive practical and administrative experience in health care systems management, and possesses both the knowledge and the skills necessary to build innovative, sustainable health care programs.  Ms Puhi is passionate about health care and is committed to improve health outcomes on Molokai.

Cyrus Siu - BS

Joined MCHC in October 2007 as Chief Financial Officer.  Senior accounting/financial executive with background in non-profits, healthcare, engineering, research development and retail organizations. Areas of responsibilities have included budgeting, forecasting, project reviews, contract administration, job costing, payroll, cash management, risk management, operations, government compliance, procurement and others. Born and raised in Hawaii. Appreciates the opportunity to work with MCHC who provides direct services to an underserved population.

Aaron L. Sluss - AS, Journeyman Carpenter

Aaron is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana where he studied at Ivy Tech College and earned a degree in Construction Technology and Management. After completing a four year apprenticeship in the Indiana/Kentucky Carpenter and Millwright Union, he continued expanding his education and earned numerous certifications. With 7 years of carpentry and construction management under his belt he is a great asset to the Molokai Community Health Center, and enjoys his new life in Moloka'i.

Boki Chung - DDS

Boki Chung, DDS moved to Molokai and joined the Center in July 2010.  She has worked in underserved communities for the past 4 years in Dominican Republic, New York and Oahu.  Dr. Chung is committed to promoting health and wellness starting from oral health.  Even though she was born and raised in cities (Hong Kong, Vancouver, Toronto, NYC), she loves being outdoors - especially in the water.  Come meet her either in the office or in the surf.

Claire Iveson

Administrative oversight of Family Support programs, including Outreach/Eligibility, Ikaika Infant Toddler Development Program, and Teddy Bear Corner playgroups.  Currently also serves as Ikaika program manager and care coordinator.  Born in Greenwich Village, NY, and lived in Pasadena, CA; Washington, DC; and San Francisco prior to moving to Molokai in 1978.  Has been with Family Support since 1979 and loves having been part of MCHC for the past three years.

Stephanie Napoli - PsyD

I live on Moloka`i with my husband, Mike, and our two dogs, Ally and Kula. I enjoy studying the Bible, reading, walking in nature, snorkeling, boogie boarding, birdwatching, soccer, music and movies. 

The MCHC BH Dept aims to promote optimal functioning for individuals and families of Moloka`i through effective delivery of integrated and specialized Behavioral Health care. We aim to be the hub of island trauma-focused treatment, while collaborating with fellow community agencies and organizations to build a strong network of education, services, and treatment for health and mental health issues.

My specialty training is in trauma-focused treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, emotion regulation and mindfulness, and crisis intervention.  I have experience working with all ages (keiki to kupuna) and a diversity of cultural backgrounds.

Traci Mosher Stevenson - DO
  • Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is the Medical Director of the Moloka'i Community Health Center.
  • Medical School:  Midwestern University.
  • Internship:  Mt Clemens General Hospital, Mt Clemens, MI. 
  • General Osteopathic Internship.
  • Residency:  U. of Illinois at Chicago; Family Medicine Residency.

Provide a full spectrum of family medical care such as well baby visits, women’s health, including pap/pelvic exams, chronic disease management and senior health.  Special interest in promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.   Perform minor out patient procedures and osteopathic manipulative treatment.
