Biography
Mike is a dedicated Molokai community member whose career reflects a deep commitment to serving and uplifting local families. With a Master of Social Work and a professional background rooted in restorative practices, Mike currently serves as a Probation Officer, where he applies trauma-informed approaches, culturally responsive interventions, and a strong belief in second chances to support individuals on their path to stability and success.
As a member of the Board of Directors for Molokai Community Health Center, Mike brings a unique blend of social work expertise, justice-system experience, and community insight. This perspective strengthens the Board’s efforts to expand access to behavioral health services, integrate culturally grounded care, and address the social determinants of health that impact many Molokai ʻohana.
Mike serves on the Quality Improvement committee and is honored to support Molokai Community Health Center’s mission to deliver high-quality, equitable care, and to advocate for the well-being of the community he calls home.
