Biography
Born and reared on Molokai, Margaret is a proud Native Hawaiian health professional dedicated to strengthening the well-being of Hawaii’s families and her home community. As a Licensed Practical Nurse with extensive experience in public health, Margaret serves with the Hawaii Department of Health, where she provides community-based services, health education and programs that promote prevention, resilience, and overall wellness.
With a deep commitment to malama the people of Molokai, Margaret brings both clinical expertise and cultural understanding to her role on the Board of Directors for Molokai Community Health Center. Her perspective helps guide the health center’s efforts to expand access to quality care, uplift Native Hawaiian health initiatives, and advance services that honor local values and traditions.
An advocate for healthcare and member of the policy committee, Margaret works to bridge health care systems and communities, advocating for quality care and ensuring that vulnerable and rural populations – especially those on Molokai – receive the support they deserve.
Grounded in aloha, kuleana, and a lifelong dedication to serving her home, Margaret is honored to contribute to Molokai Community Health Center’s mission and help build a healthier future for Molokai.
