Overview of Services Provided
The health center’s approach for meeting community needs includes providing integrated services through a single point of access, hiring from the target population whenever possible, strongly emphasizing preventive health, and working collaboratively with other health and human service organizations locally and nationally. This collaborative work is accomplished by partnering with and sharing limited resources with existing institutions to provide the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to address health care needs in the community.
To understand community need, MOHC performs a community needs assessments every three years.
