Biography
Jonathon joined the Molokai Community Health Center medical team in 2024, and brings over 38 years of experience in healthcare to the practice. Jonathon began his medical career as a Navy hospital corpsman and Marine Corps medic before earning his bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master’s in Public Health.
For the past 20 years, Jonathon has worked in Alaska, including stints in Nome, Anchorage and rural communities within the Eastern Aleutian Tribes. His expertise covers emergent and urgent care, medivacs, and primary care for patients of all ages. Jonathon also has played a key role in training community health aids.
Additional information
After visiting Molokai several times, Jonathon and his wife fell in love with the island, so much that they decided to make Molokai their home two years ago.
In his free time, Jonathon enjoys water sports, boating, fishing, swimming and hiking.
